For this project, you will be doing a little bit of writing, a little bit of AI creation and a little bit of AI illustration
PART ONE: Using GOOGLE DOCS, create a file named SHORT_STORY in your COMPTECH FOLDER. You will be writing a short story. For this story, you have a couple of requirements:
Your story must have a BEGINNING, a MIDDLE and an END.
Your story must be AT LEAST two paragraphs long.

PART TWO: When you are done, please jump on CHATGPT.COM. Enter a query for ChatGPT to write you a short story with the same requirements as above. Make sure to be detailed in your request! If you wish to ask for a particular style of story, such as a "Murder Mystery" or a "SCIENCE FICTION" story, you can, but you do not have to.
Once your story has been generated, REVIEW it. If there are parts that you do not like, ask ChatGPT to revise them to your standards.
When you are COMPLETELY done generating, copy and paste the ChatGPT story to the end of the story that YOU wrote, so that I can see both of them.
PART THREE: Go back to ChatGPT and copy whichever of your two stories you like the most into the query window.
Then, ask ChatGPT (I think we can do this on the school network, if not, save this part until later) to ILLUSTRATE your story, including all of the elements that you would like to see.
You should also request a STYLE of illustration, as well, such as "Japanese Woodblock Print" or "Comic Book Art" or "Manga."
If you do not like any of the artwork that you generate, try again, using different queries and details until you get the image that you want.
When you have the image that you like, do the following:
Download the Image: Click on the image to open it in full view, then right-click (or tap and hold on mobile devices) and choose "Save image as..." to download it to your computer or device.
Insert into Google Doc:
Open your Google Doc called SHORT_STORY in your COMPTECH folder.
Go to Insert > Image > Upload from computer.
Select the downloaded image file from your device.

Log in to your school Google Account.
In your school Google Drive account, create a new folder called "LASTNAME_COMPTECH." Make sure this is YOUR LAST NAME- "Gust," "Jensen," etc.
Click ONCE to highlight this folder in Google Drive and then...
Cclick on the SHARE button in icon menu bar at the top of your drive list. It will look like a little person with a + next to it.

Our First Assignment: Word Web- My Favorite Things Pencil Diagram. DUE TODAY. 18 point assignment. You will be using a piece of paper and a pencil to create a chart or "concept map" of information regarding some of your "Favorite Stuff." HERE IS MR. B.'s EXAMPLE. Your name will go in the center of the paper.
Create web "arms" for 6-8 different CATEGORIES of "Your Favorite Stuff." (these are CONSUMER GOODS that you can buy at a store. Think video games, energy drinks, cars, pizzas, french fries, chips, fast food, shoes, makeup, candy bars, etc. DO NOT LIST people, places, bands, pets, teams, etc.)
Create at least 3 web "arms" from each of these categories and list the specific brands/ flavors, of each category that are your favorites. (such as "Snickers," "Twix," "Reese's Pieces for Candy Bars, etc."

Click CONTINUE, when asked.
Click CREATE A NEW DIAGRAM.
Click BLANK DIAGRAM>CREATE.
***VERY IMPORTANT STEP: Select NO, PICK FOLDER
Navigate in your Google Drive to your COMPTECH FOLDER and click on it once to highlight it, then CLICK SELECT
Your NEW DIAGRAM will open.
