Overview of the Project: We have already completed a GRAND OPENING ADVERTISEMENT for your selected company a few weeks ago. For THIS project, we will be continuing our work with your customer. For this project, your customer (the small business that you selected in the GRAND OPENING ADVERTISEMENT) has asked you to create a professional and stylish ANIMATED SOCIAL MEDIA POST.

Getting Started: First, go to CANVA.com and log in with your SCHOOL EMAIL. Notice that you have access to a bunch of different tools and templates on the home page. You have a few options for this project, the D OPTION or the A OPTION. You get to choose, let's go over these one at a time:

• THE D OPTION: You open an pre-created ANIMATED template in Canva and create an ANIMATED SOCIAL MEDIA POST for your selected company and its products and services. This is the basic option for this project that will earn you a barely passing grade. This will give you a D on the project, if executed perfectly.
• THE A OPTION: You will create YOUR OWN CANVA SOCIAL MEDIA POST that includes ANIMATION AND MUSIC that you created for your Selected Company from the last project. This will give you an A on this project, if you execute it perfectly.

Research: I highly recommend that you check out some of the CANVA ANIMATED SOCIAL MEDIA TEMPLATES by searching for "ANIMATED SOCIAL MEDIA" to see what this should look like. Mr. B. reserves the right to change, edit or completely throw out your design if it is not of professional quality!

The Project: Your assignment is to create an ANIMATED SOCIAL MEDIA ADVERTISEMENT FOR YOUR SELECTED COMPANY. Your advertisement MUST include all of the following elements:

1. YOU MUST USE THE PROPER SIZED CANVAS FOR THIS. Search for an INSTAGRAM or SOCIAL MEDIA TEMPLATE.
2. The name of your SELECTED SMALL BUSINESS.
3. The company website for your business (you will need to look this up, if you don't know it.)
4. NEW AI GENERATED IMAGERY OF THE THING THAT YOU ARE ADVERTISING. You can create this imagery using CANVA tools or one of the other IMAGE CREATORS that we have reviewed recently. It is highly recommended that you use animated images and creative text layouts in your advertisement. This can be for a sale, an event, a new product, etc. BE CREATIVE.
5. NEW AI GENERATED MUSIC THAT FITS WITH THE COMPANY THAT YOU ARE ADVERTISING.
6. An eye appealing and catchy design and animation.
7. Your advertisement must look professional and appealing. If it looks "Middle School" in any way, you will receive a ZERO for this project!

Submitting your work: When you have created your Animated Advertisement, please SHARE>DOWNLOAD>MP4 or ANIMATED GIF and save it to your COMPTECH folder for grading. This will be a 50 point project.
