Canva Project- The Husky Logo |
Overview of the Project: We have been working on Canva, using our new design skills and our new AI Image generation skills. For this, you will be using both to create a nice HUSKY LOGO for a sport or a club at Highland High School. Getting Started: First, go to CANVA.com and log in with your SCHOOL EMAIL.You will probably want to just start a blank, square canvas, such as an INSTAGRAM POST. The Project: You will be using AI to create a HUSKY that you will use for a Husky Logo for a team or club at Highland. For this, I would like you to try a NEW IMAGE GENERATOR AVAILABLE THROUGH CHATGPT- DALL•E. CLICK THIS LINK TO ACCESS. Please use this AI generator until you get an image that you like! The good news is that DALL•E does a great job of creating EXACTLY what you ask for and can even handle NUMBERS and LETTERS! For example, here is a prompt that I entered to get a cartoon image of a cartoon Husky basketball player. NOTICE THE DETAIL IN MY QUERY! I did a similar image last year as a logo for Esports Posters. To do this, I took the created image into CANVA and added the circle and the text.
YOUR JOB: Create a logo for a HIGHLAND SPORT OR CLUB. Please include a HUSKY dog of some sort in your design. Have accessories that fit with the sport, such as balls, bats, helmets, etc. Put the team or club name on the logo, as well. To do this, you might want to create a number of separate images and put them together in Canva, instead of trying to create one image that has everything at once. A TOOL YOU SHOULD USE: CANVA has a very useful and fairly decent DELETE BACKGROUND tool, USE IT TO CREATE YOUR LOGO! SUBMITTING YOUR WORK: PLEASE NOTE: If your HUSKY LOGO DOES NOT LOOK AWESOME, I DON'T WANT IT. THIS SHOULD BE SOMETHING THAT, IF IT WERE A STICKER, YOU WOULD BE EXCITED TO PUT ON YOUR CHROMEBOOK, BECAUSE IT LOOKS SO COOL! When you have created your HUSKY LOGO, please SHARE>DOWNLOAD>JPG and then upload it to your COMPTECH folder for grading. This will be a 50 point project.
