BELLRINGER:  As tradition dictates, we review our book, because we made our deadline, a few days early!  Yay!

FOR TODAY:

  1. WHAT'S NEXT: We have all of the following to work on over the next month.  If you are not working on SUPPLEMENT PAGES or YOU'RE IN THE BOOK PHOTOS, please start working on NEXT YEAR'S THEME PROJECT.  We will have an UPDATE ASSIGNMENT on this project when we come back from Spring Break, I will be asking you what your THEME IDEA is for next year's yearbook and what that might look like, so be ready!
      • YEARBOOK SUPPLEMENT:  We have 8 pages still to complete by the 2nd week of April, including a double page for PROM, BASEBALL and TRACK and two other pages TBD.
      • BOOK SALES:  We have the photos we need for our "YOU'RE IN THE BOOK" windows. I'll try to have those printed sometime before the end of the week after break.  I would also like to come up with some advertising ideas, such as flyers, social media posts, etc. that we can use to get the word out about the book.
      • PLANNING NEXT YEAR'S THEME:  All staff have a "Next Year's Theme Project" to complete by the second week of April.  Please spend some time today working on this.  You will at least need to know your THEME IDEA and a rough plan for what your pages are going to look like when we get back from break.
      • SENIOR SLIDE SHOW:  Skyler will need to start working on the Senior Slide Show after break.  We have music and a number of baby photos, but we need ALL of the baby photos.  See me for instructions!
      • SOCIAL MEDIA REELS POST: After break, I am going to be assigned this project, so that we can start thinking about selling some books. Feel free to start putting this together today by gathering what you feel are some of your/our best photos this year and getting ready to put them into a canva animation.

      • PARTY? aIt is also traditional that we have a party after we make our last book deadline.  Usually, the Editors plan that by seeing if anyone can bring food, desserts, drinks, cups, forks, etc.
