BELLRINGER: We absolutely need to start working on our SUPPLEMENT PAGES today.  They are due in two weeks!

WORK FOR TODAY

  1. PLEASE SPEND TIME TODAY ON THE FOLLOWING:
      • YEARBOOK SUPPLEMENT:  We have 8 pages still to complete over the next two and a half weeks, including a double page for PROM, BASEBALL and TRACK, SPRING BREAK and WEEK WITHOUT HATE.  We ABSOLUTELY need to start putting these pages together as soon as possible.
      • TRACK and BASEBALL PHOTOS  If we have any Spring Sports photos from last week, please sort them and start putting them on the proper supplement pages.
      • BOOK SALES:  Could some staff start putting together a few nice looking flyers to hang up around the building over the next couple of weeks?  I recommend using Canva and printing them in the office.
      • FINALIZING AD SALES-  HUNTER:  We still need to cross check our ads with the Yearbook Ledge information from Ms. Carli.  Please sort this out today. If there are any missing payments, we need to send out invoices.
      • PLANNING NEXT YEAR'S THEME:  All staff have a "Next Year's Theme Project" to complete by next week.  Please spend some time today working on this.  There are a LOT of requirements for this project and it is actually a decent amount of work to complete a cover design, two double pages and a Senior Photo Block that looks Factory Ready!
      • SENIOR SLIDE SHOW:  Skyler- I have some new baby photos, I will/have forwarded those emails or folders to you, please download them to the proper SENIOR_STUFF folder and start putting the Senior Slide Show together, if you can.
      • THE ANIMATED YEARBOOK SALES SOCIAL MEDIA POST:   If you haven't sent this to Mr. Burkhard, please do so today.

BELLRINGER: A number of people were out last class period.  Please make sure to send me your ANIMATED YEARBOOK SALE ADVERTISEMENT PROJECT.  This is due and will go in the gradebook as a 25 point assignment.  The first animated ad has already been posted on our Instagram account.  DAVID:  We have an MP4 video of our FLIP BOOK.  I don't particularly like it, but it doesn't have the red Xs of OUR version online.  If you get a chance, can you see if you could turn it into an animated advertisement for book sales that doesn't look so dumb?

THE YEARBOOK AGENDA FOR THE NEXT 2-3 WEEKS:

  1. WHAT'S NEXT: We have all of the following to work on over the next month.
      • YEARBOOK SUPPLEMENT:  We have 8 pages still to complete over the next two and a half weeks, including a double page for PROM, BASEBALL and TRACK, a SPRING BREAK page and one other page.  We ABSOLUTELY need to start putting the outlines of those pages together as soon as possible.
      • TRACK PHOTOS Emma has volunteered to go to Severance on Friday (9:30 a.m. dismissal time) to take Varsity Track Photos, but we could really use someone to go to Eaton on Wednesday for photos, as well.  We already have permission to have a Yearbook person on the bus, we just need a volunteer.  That would be a 2:30 p.m. dismissal to go with the JV Track Team to Eaton.
      • OSCAR'S FAMILY would like two copies of this year's book.  What do we think about this?  Should WE pay for it?  Get Admin to help?  Take up a collection?  Thoughts?
      • BOOK SALES:  We have the photos we need for our "YOU'RE IN THE BOOK" windows. I'll try to have those printed sometime next week.  I would also like to come up with some advertising ideas, such as flyers, social media posts, etc. that we can use to get the word out about the book.
      • FINALIZING AD SALES:  We have a number of ads that were put into the book where we have not yet gotten paid by vendors or parents.  We need to sort this out TODAY by getting a list of payments to Yearbook from the office and comparing them to our ad list.  If there are any missing payments, we need to send out invoices.
      • PLANNING NEXT YEAR'S THEME:  All staff have a "Next Year's Theme Project" to complete by the second week of April.  Please spend some time today working on this.  There are a LOT of requirements for this project and it is actually a decent amount of work to complete a cover design, two double pages and a Senior Photo Block that looks Factory Ready!
      • SENIOR SLIDE SHOW:  Skyler is working on these.  We have music and a number of baby photos, but we need a list of which seniors we have baby photos for, so that we can send out an email to the other parents ASAP.
      • THE ANIMATED YEARBOOK SALES SOCIAL MEDIA POST:   Please put this together and send it to Mr. B. for posting on the school TVs and on our social media platforms.
