At the start of class, please TURN IN OUR GURU/DEBUNKING PROJECT by completing: THE GURU/DEBUNKER PROJECT SUBMISSION FORM. Once I have collected all of the videos, you will need to review them. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you take some notes, as the exam regarding these Financial Scams will be after lunch today. You will be able to use your notes! OUR ASSIGNMENTS FOR TODAY- ASSIGNMENT ONE: Today, the FINAL VERSION OF YOUR LIFE BUDGET IS DUE. This is worth 100 points. Please make sure that you have included ALL things that we have reviewed so far this semester- income, rent, utilities, insurance, other monthly expenses, food, car expenses, savings, investing, paying off debt, etc. All rows need to add up properly and the totals should be equal at the bottom of the form- INCOME SHOULD EQUAL EXPENSES. PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT SUBMIT THIS PROJECT, I WILL GRADE IT FROM THE FORM ITSELF! ASSIGNMENT TWO: DUE EARLY NEXT WEEK- the GURU/DEBUNKER SCAMS RESEARCH PROJECT- 100+ points. For today, you absolutely need to have done research to answer all of the necessary questions about your scam. You should also have written your script. If you wish to go out into the school to do some recording of your scripts with your phone, you may, TWO GROUPS AT A TIME. Take the orange cones! You should only be gone for 10 minutes or less.
