Brush Tutorial

In this Tutorial You will be shown how to download, install, and use brushes.

First you need to go to www.highlandtechnology.org and click on Files.

When you come to the page you will have a list of brushes...

Here are examples of all the brushes to look at before you choose which ones to download:

Once you find the ones you like just choose 2 for now and go into your my documents on violet and create a folder called Brushes and save these brushes to this folder.

After you have the brushes saved to that folder you will need to open Photoshop and create a new document (preforably 500x500) and set it to white.

Now that you have done that select your brush tool and go into the middle of your new document and right click...

This will bring up a window and you will need to select "Replace Brushes"

After selecting that you will have a browse window pop up and you will need to go to your My Documents on Violet and find you brush folder and select the brush that your wanting to load.

When you do that you are finished you can select which one of the brushes you want to use from the set and then choose the color and just click in the document and experiment around with the different types there are in each set. To download and load other brushes just go back to the site and download the other brushes, but be sure to delete the ones your not using or you will run out of space. Done.
