YEARBOOK Windows Project
BACKGROUND: It is nearing the end of the year in Yearbook and a number of staff no longer have pages to work on. However, we do have a number of projects and assignments that need to be completed before we start working on the Literary Magazine. THE PROJECT: Each year, we have put up a "bulletin board" on the windows of the Tech Lab with photos of all of the students in the school. See the diagram below for a layout of the Windows display:
This needs to be completed on both sides of the Tech Lab, using black butcher paper and cut-out yellow letters from yellow printer paper, acquired from the office. These letters must be WIDE and professional looking. Sloppy letter design and cutting will NOT be tolerated. In the past, staff has used the overhead projector to make sure that they had proper letter templates for cutting, I suggest doing the same this year. THE PHOTOS FOR THIS DISPLAY: We need about 75-100 photos that are being used in our book for this display. To get these photos, go to the Josten's YearbookAvenue.com pages, find a photo you like, then RIGHT CLICK on the image and select click MANAGE IMAGE>IMAGE DETAILS. From here, you will need to click the DETAILS tab in the upper right corner and then click DOWNLOAD IMAGE in the lower right area. SAVE these photos to a BLUE DRIVE FOLDER called YOUREINTHEBOOK GET THESE PHOTOS DOWNLOADED BY FRIDAY, 3/26, SO MR. B. CAN HAVE THEM PRINTED! PLEASE NOTE: THE JOB OF THIS DISPLAY IS TO HAVE PHOTOS OF AS MANY STUDENTS AS POSSIBLE ON OUR WINDOWS. SPREAD OUT YOUR PHOTOS, DON'T HAVE 231 OF FOOTBALL PLAYERS AND NO VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS, ETC.! STEPS FOR COMPLETION:
GRADING: All staff working on this project will be responsible for its completion and will receive a 100/100 score when the windows are completed properly. |
