2023- FALL YEARBOOK PRACTICUM FINAL EXAMINATION

BACKGROUND:

We have been working on creating our yearbook for most of this semester. We are currently facing a huge deadline, with another huge deadline only weeks after. Instead of recreating a "Practice Yearbook" as a Final Examination, students will be working on doing their normal job to help us make our Deadlines. There is a list below of the expected products for each student. For this Final Examination, students will need to complete the tasks for which they are responsible before the end of the Final Examination Period.

THE TASKS:

Each student has some specific assignments and tasks, seen below.:
STAFF MEMBER DEADLINE DUTIES TO BE COMPLETED DURING FINALS PERIOD
GABBY BAUTISTA I will be finished with the volleyball pages (48-49), as well as get 4 more stories added to the homecoming pages, Monday and Tuesday, as well as finish the divider page for home coming.
DESTINY BAXTER During that class period i will be working on my stories for two pictures on the fashion page, those people are kate and lily. Another story i will be working on is a story for the agg page or the freshman page. It is a picture of freshman students playing a jeopardy game. Along with my photos for fashion i will be cutting those pictures out. I will be working on one more story about mr gerrish picture cutout and story complete.
MARY JONES I'm going to be sort out senior pictures on page 92-101and put in their name and put pictures.
JAEDYN MAGEE
Review and proof the sophomore pages and begin work on pages 3-4 of the sophomore section.
LANI MILLER Has been absent and has not completed the Final Deadline Task Sheet.
SAWYER MORGAN I will be finishing the football pages, adding stories about stats, how games ended, and the overall season. I will also be finishing the first double pages of the junior section and adding one more picture and story from Mrs.Jabar's Collage Composition class. Then starting the outline for the boy's basketball pages. Pages 14-15, 46-47, and 54-55.
MADISON O'RAND I will make the Bridget Ochs Ad, Potts Insurance, Hamblen Hats Ads. I will also put the El Centenaro Ad on the page. Pages 110-111.
LEO ORNELAS MORENO Will take photos at the Winter Concert and Art Show on Wednesday and will catalog these photos, finding the best 5-7 pictures and captioning them for the Finals Period. Will put the photos and stories on the proper page (Electives, Class Page, etc.)
JUNIOR ORQUIZ I will be helping Sawyer finished the football pages. I am putting images and making the stories for each image on the pages. On the football pages i will also finish some of the captioning for the senior pictures. I will also be helping sawyer start the outline for the basketball pages. Pages 46-47 & 54-55
JAYLA OSWALD I will help complete the fonts for the senior pictures pages and complete stories for the senior academic pages as well such as senior req classes, like econ
NIKKI QUINONES I am going to do three photo and story of student life for the class pages. I am also going to get a few of my homecoming pictures and write stories for them, so Gabby can put them on the homecoming pages.
AARON SHIPPY I will complete all of the elements on one of the senior academic pages (page 20). This includes pictures, stories, captions, doo dads, and general page layout.
LEAH VARRA On my final I am going to be writing a total of 5 stories, with each story I will have a picture to go along with it. I am going to be doing 4 photos and stories for the wrestling page, and I have 1 photo and story for the volleyball page.
LEAH GRODI I will be adding photos and stories regarding the state championship and out of school fundraising on the cheer page. Pages 42+43.
ZACH MARTINEZ I will be working on making 1-2 ads from scratch for companies that don't have a business ad and modifying other ad that companies want changed and working on getting them on the page
NIOMI JENNINGS I will be helping lacey add photos and captions to the Yearbook page. Pages 84-85.
JAYLENE LEONARD I will be completing the staff and faculty pages 1+2 and the Senior Baby Ads on pages 124-125 and have them ready to be proofed with Mr. Burkhard for sending to factory.
BILLIE MICK I am goning to do 3 socialmedia posts one for our cheer team and another for our yearbook class sense we are takenig a photo of all of us on tuesday. I am also going to dp 3 dodads for the yearbook page .
JORDAN TAYLOR I finishing the working on the fashion page by adding all of the the stories and pictures to the page.
LACEY TAYLOR I will finish putting stories and pictures on the YEARBOOK club page. it will have individual pictures of people, a group picture, a story about Mr. Burkhard, and a story about Gabby and Mary as editors. Pages 84+85.
TRACEY VAN GILDER II I will be working on 5 doodads in total for cheerleading and fashion page.

GRADING:

  • You are reponsible for completing your tasks above. If you do so, you will receive credit for the Final Examination. If you do NOT complete the tasks above, you will not receive credit for the Final Exam. Partial credit for attempted work will be given, but we need to have all of these pages completed to be able to make our deadline!
