YEARBOOK PHOTO ASSIGNMENT: Yearbook Scavenger Hunt

THE ASSIGNMENT: Below, you will find a list of PHOTOGRAPHY TARGETS for you to collect over the next two weeks. Please get photos of as many of these objects/subjects as you can, with STUDENTS OR STAFF in the photos!

  • For each photo, staff will receive ONE point towards this 50 point assignment.
  • Photos must be sharp and clear (good enough to put into the Yearbook!)
  • Your photographs MUST also have STUDENTS or STAFF in the photo. DO NOT take a photo of the same person twice!
  • ALL PHOTOGRAPHS MUST BE TAKEN ON THE HHS CAMPUS!
  • ALL PHOTOGRAPHS must be taken between AUGUST 30TH and SEPTEMBER 11TH. You cannot use photos taken already this year!
  • DO NOT disrupt classes to take any of these photographs! You can ask teachers to take "photos for a Yearbook assignment" if you are in the class, but do not GO INTO another class to take these photos!
  • Please get SEPARATE and DIFFERENT PHOTOS for each object. Multiple objects in one photo (example: Crocs shoes and HIGHLAND Sweatpants with a strange HUSKY on them) will only be counted for ONE OBJECT, not THREE!
  • PHOTOGRAPHS should be taken OUTSIDE the Tech Lab, preferably with Non Yearbook Staff in the photo, as of SEPTEMBER 9TH!

GRADING (50 point assignment): You will receive one point for each photo from the list. The winner of this contest will be decided by the largest number of captured photos. Should two staff members be tied, the tiebreaker will be the person with the MOST PHOTOS WITH STUDENTS IN THEM.
