YEARBOOK PHOTO ASSIGNMENT: Yearbook Scavenger Hunt

THE ASSIGNMENT: Below, you will find a list of PHOTOGRAPHY TARGETS for you to collect over the next week. Please get photos of as many of these objects/subjects as you can, preferably with STUDENTS OR STAFF in the photos!

  • For each photo, staff will receive ONE point towards this 50 point assignment.
  • Photos must be sharp and clear (good enough to put into a Yearbook!)
  • ALL PHOTOGRAPHS must have STUDENTS or STAFF in the photo. The object of this assignment is to get AS MANY PHOTOS OF STUDENTS as possible, so make sure that you take photos of DIFFERENT students for your pictures. No more than 2-3 photos of the same person will be counted!
  • ALL PHOTOGRAPHS MUST BE TAKEN ON THE HHS CAMPUS or at an HHS EVENT!
  • ALL PHOTOGRAPHS must be taken between 9/25 to 10/2. You cannot use photos taken already this year!
  • DO NOT disrupt classes to take any of these photographs! You can ask teachers to take "photos for a Yearbook assignment" if you are in the class, but do not GO INTO another class to take these photos!
  • Please get SEPARATE and DIFFERENT PHOTOS for each object. Multiple objects in one photo (example: Crocs shoes and HIGHLAND Sweatpants with a strange HUSKY on them) will only be counted for ONE OBJECT, not THREE!
  • PHOTOGRAPHS should be taken OUTSIDE the Tech Lab, preferably with Non Yearbook Staff in the photo, starting on Monday, September 25th, ending on Monday, October 2nd!

THE GROUPS: NO GROUPS THIS YEAR, you are responsible for finding all of these photographs by yourself. The winners in each class will receive an EDIBLE WINNER'S AWARD (This will be worthwhile, trust me!) The winners will also receive 50 extra credit points. In the event of multiple people completing ALL 50 photographs, the staff member with the EARLIEST LAST PHOTO DATE will be declared the winner.

MAKE SURE TO PROPERLY NAME ALL PHOTOGRAPHS, or you will not receive credit for this project.
