Productions: "Stress Management Videos"
|
Premise: Mrs. Rolfe would like us to come up with a small library of videos that will help to demonstrate STRESS MANAGEMENT Techniques that would be helpful for High School Students. The Techniques We Need to Address: We have a total of FIVE stress management tips and techniques from Mrs. Rolfe that will will be demonstrating in our videos. One technique for each of the five students doing this project. Mrs. Rolfe says that Hugo already has a LONG list of appropriate stress management techniques. Please select the FIVE that seem the best for high school students. If we have lost the list, go visit Mrs. Rolfe again for assistance. Ideas and Scripts: If you have any questions about possible ways of demonstrating the techniques on video, please talk with Mrs. Rolfe ahead of time. She will be monitoring and advising you along the way, so you might want to get her advice early. You will come up with TWO IDEAS for your video and discuss them with Mrs. Rolfe. She will guide you in creating your final script. I would like you to create a THOROUGH script that outlines all facets of your film, including dialogue, settings, props, camera angles, etc. When you have completed your script, print it and show Mrs. Rolfe. SHE MUST SIGN OFF ON YOUR SCRIPT BEFORE YOU CAN BEGIN FILMING! Filming and Editing: Film and edit as usual. I would like the five videos to all have a common title screen, so you will have to coordinate that between the students involved. Please make sure to include sound and music, as these are very helpful in making a video more dramatic and interesting. When you are done, please MAKE MOVIE as an MPG. I would like Mrs. Rolfe to be able to preview these videos before they are used in the future. A Word of Warning: This assignment is being required by Mr. Ward as a learning experience after the disaster of the Newsmagazine Stress Management clip. He will be monitoring the progress of these films. I expect them to be perfect and on message, according to Mrs. Rolfe's needs. If she does not ask for it, you do not put it into your video. NO DRUG REFERENCES!
