Daily Assignments: For the PORTFOLIO UNIT, you will be receiving a total of FOUR different daily challenge assignments.  The themes for these assignments will vary from Unit to Unit, but you can expect such assignments as:

• Doors
• "A Day in the Life"
• Portraits
• Lines
• Vanishing Point
• Shadows
• Close-up

It is understood that the student will be doing their best to compile all of the "portfolio" photographs required of each daily assignment. 

Expectations:  Students will create a small portfolio of photographs for each daily assignment, usually somewhere between 5 and 20 photos. 

It is understood that the student will need to take MANY MORE than the required number of photographs to get 5-20 that look good enough for a portfolio. 

It is also expected that these photographs will be post-processed in Photoshop to enhance their look if necessary.  Make sure to use either "Saturation" or "Channel Mixer" in Photoshop to create Black and White photographs, if that will suit your needs.

Grading:  Each "portfolio" will be worth a total of 25 points, for a total of 100 points for the UNIT.  Grading for each portfolio will be done based on the QUALITY OF THE PHOTOGRAPHS only.
