The Typography Objects: You
will be responsible for creating TWO different Typographic respresentations of your object on two different canvases, as outlined below. Each should be on a 8 1/2 inch by 11 inch
canvas in Photoshop (you can make your canvas 11 x 8 1/2, if you wish).
- TYPOGRAPHIC OBJECT ONE: Using the letters in your object only once in a legible way, create a typographic design that illustrates your object in some way. This can be either literal or figurative. You will be using a color palette of only the solid, simple colors of the rainbow to color your letters. Your background can be either black or white.
- TYPOGRAPHIC OBJECT TWO: Also using your object, you must incorporate the physical image of your object into a typographic design.
- When you have completed this assignment, save it
as a JPEG and turn it into the DROPBOX, call it "lastname_typography_ad.jpg"
Grading: This
assignment will be worth a total of 100 points:
- 25 points for proper inclusion of a picture or
image of your item.
- 25 points for proper inclusion of a typographic
representation of your "Catch Phrase."
- 50 points, based upon Mr. B.'s whims, regarding
the overall look and eye appeal of the final product.
