THE PROJECT: We have been working on a ton of graphic design "problems" this semester and a contest is available for students to design a "4H Club" T-Shirt for a student. The student is willing to offer a CASE of soda of the choice of the winning designer. Students that do not drink soda may substitute another drink of their choice of a similar value. We are on a fairly tight deadline for this project, as the T-shirt designs need to be submitted to the club at the start of December. Please complete your design by the end of the day on Thursday, November 30th, 2017.

Here are the SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS regarding the creation of the T-shirt Design:

• CREATE YOUR DESIGN ON A 300 PPI CANVAS FOR PRINTING on a LIGHT GRAY shirt.
• MUST INCLUDE THE 4H EMBLEM. Link for 4H clover  http://4h.ucanr.edu/Resources/Branding_Toolkit/
  • SCROLL DOWN TO THE TABLE OF CLOVER DESIGN LINKS ON THIS PAGE!
  • CLOVER CANNOT BE CHANGED OR MANIPULATED IN ANY WAY.
  • No stretching, no color changing!
• MUST include the words: ROCKY RIDGE CLUB.
• SHIRT DESIGN CAN include any of the following:
  • "Heart, hands, health, and healing"
  • "Learn by doing"
  • "To make the best better"
  • "EST. 1902"
  • "Larimer County"
• SHIRT DESIGN IMAGERY could include:
• Swine, horse, goats, sheep, rabbits, photography, beef, poultry, shooting sports, visual arts, dogs, llamas, alpacas
• COLORS: LIMIT your design to only FOUR COLORS. Please note that BLACK AND WHITE are colors and that you CANNOT change the color of the 4H LOGOS!
• MAKE SURE THAT YOU DESIGN AND SAVE YOUR FILE TO HAVE A TRANSPARENT BACKGROUND, IT WILL BE PRINTED ON A GRAY SHIRT!

CREATION and SUBMISSION OF THE T-SHIRT DESIGN: Be creative with your design! Design a shirt that YOU would be proud to wear. When you are done with your design, please place it in the 4H_DESIGNS folder on the Q: DRIVE. Call your file LASTNAME_4H_DESIGN.TIFF. Then, PRINT YOUR DESIGN, in color, as needed and submit it to Mr. B. Make sure your name is on the back of the print!

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: The winning T-shirt design will be awarded the prize mentioned above.
