Civil Government Apprentice, Episode TWO:  The "Don't Trust Your Government" Facebook Poster

ASSIGNMENT: This assignment for Civil Government Apprentice, Episode TWO will involve groups creating a single ORIGINAL graphic that pertains to the idea of "Don't Trust Your Government."  These graphics will be posted to the facebook page of "The Federalist Papers."  Whichever group receives the most "likes" and "shares" for their poster will be the winning group.

THE POSTER:  This episode has to do with trust of government and whether or not the government of the United States always does what is best for its citizens.  Hopefully, students will come away from this episode with a healthy distrust of government.   Groups will be illustrating this distrust by creating an ORIGINAL graphic on the subject.  The graphic should have a pertinent quote, saying, story, or idea, as well as appealing and eye-catching graphics.

FORMAT: Posters can be created in any way that groups wish: Fireworks, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, etc. Final graphics must be submitted to Mr. B. by Thursday afternoon in .JPEG format. If your team does not know how to do .JPEGS, please ask Mr. B. for help!

SAMPLES:  Here are two facebook graphics posted by "The Federalist Papers" on their facebook page.  Groups should be creating graphics of a similar nature:

JUDGEMENT: The group which receives the most "Likes" and "Shares" from "The Federalist Papers" on facebook will be declared the winner.

A WARNING: I will only post the most professional posters. I will not embarass our school by posting a poster that is poorly conceived or badly executed. In addition, a poster that is NOT ORIGINAL will also be rejected.
