FRIDAY 4/3/2026	BELLRINGER: I only had a few people submit their video introductions. Get these turned in today! Use THIS VIDEO INTRODUCTION UPLOAD FORM to upload your 5-10 second video introduction that you will use for all of your video game videos this quarter. We also review how to use the RESOLVE INSPECTOR tool at the start of class today. This is useful for doing overlays, B-roll, etc., that are REQUIRED for the tierlist project. Here is a simple video that demonstrates these techniques: MASTER THE DAVINCI RESOLVE INSPECTOR TOOL. OUR ASSIGNMENTS FOR TODAY: THE TIERLIST PROJECT: Begin your work on the TIERLIST VIDEO. There is LOTS to do- Intro video, script, graphics, music, etc. Get some of this work done today. This is due next FRIDAY!
WEDNESDAY 4/1/2026	BELLRINGER: I only had a few people submit their video introductions. Get these turned in today! I also want students to review the RECORDING USING OBS FOR BEGINNERS VIDEO TUTORIAL TODAY and record SOMETHING! This can be an audio introduction for your intro video, a screen grab of a YouTube video you might need for your Tierlist, or something else. OUR ASSIGNMENTS FOR TODAY: THE TIERLIST PROJECT: Begin your work on the TIERLIST VIDEO. There is LOTS to do- Intro video, script, graphics, music, etc. Get some of this work done today. This is due next FRIDAY!
MONDAY 3/30/2026	BELLRINGER: We review our HHS BY AIR- INTRODUCTION TO VIDEO EDITING. As we watch, please CRITIQUE each video by filling in the HHS BY AIR CRITIQUE FORM. OUR ASSIGNMENTS FOR TODAY: ASSIGNMENT ONE: OUR FIRST VIDEO EDITING PROJECT: HHS BY AIR- AN INTRODUCTION TO VIDEO EDITING. This needs to be saved and ready for viewing in the first 15-20 minutes of class, so that we can view our videos and critique them. ASSIGNMENT TWO: Start working on your TIERLIST VIDEO. I recommend starting with the basics- graphics, script, background music, B roll clips and videos, etc. ASSIGNMENT THREE: I would recommend that you review the video regarding RECORDING USING OBS FOR BEGINNERS TUTORIAL. You will need this for capturing online video clips, for doing voiceover recording, etc. I recommend setting your SAVE location to your YELLOW DRIVE/VIDEO EDITING folder and setting your RECORDING FORMAT TO HYBRID MP4, which will work with Resolve AND not crash if the processing is interrupted. I would pay attention to the SETTINGS, SCENES and AUDIO sections of this video, as that is what we will be using this program for in this class.
FRIDAY 3/27/2026	BELLRINGER: We review the TIERLISTS, GOOD OR BAD? THINKING SHEET. We will also go over ALL of the parts of the TIERLIST VIDEO PROJECT, including a review of Mr. B.'s Tierlist. We also discuss our INTRODUCTION for your TIERLIST (and all future videos,) and what should they look like? Let's review a few intros from some of the Internet's most influential streamers and answer the questions in the CONTENT CREATORS INTRODUCTION THINKING SHEET. OUR ASSIGNMENTS FOR TODAY: ASSIGNMENT ONE: OUR FIRST VIDEO EDITING PROJECT: HHS BY AIR- AN INTRODUCTION TO VIDEO EDITING. This needs to be saved and ready for viewing as a class as soon as possible! I want to go over these in class on MONDAY for grading. ASSIGNMENT TWO: Start working on your TIERLIST VIDEO. WEDNESDAY 3/25/2026	BELLRINGER: No bellringers today, we have too much work to do! I would like to complete t he HHS BY AIR PROJECT fairly soon. It is the intro skills video and is not scheduled to take much more than a few days to complete. OUR ASSIGNMENTS FOR TODAY: ASSIGNMENT ONE: OUR FIRST VIDEO EDITING PROJECT: HHS BY AIR- AN INTRODUCTION TO VIDEO EDITING. You should have completed the INTRO VIDEO and should we working on putting together your video today. I would START with your music, listent to your music and mark music beats with the M key, then start putting in your TITLE SCREEN, VIDEO CLIPS (about 4-5 seconds each), transitions and closing credits. ASSIGNMENT TWO: You will need to review the video clips in the YELLOW DRIVE "HHS_VIDEO_CLIPS" Folder. You will probably need to use 10+ of these videos for your project. I would recommend copying them to your YELLOW DRIVE VIDEO EDITING FOLDER for later use. ASSIGNMENT THREE: I would recommend that you review the video in the HHS BY AIR PROJECT SHEET regarding DAVINCI RESOLVE FOR BEGINNERS TUTORIAL. ASSIGNMENT FOUR: What is next? The TIERLIST VIDEO.
MONDAY 3/23/2026	BELLRINGER: We review an award winning drone compilation video. To critique, we complete the AWARD WINNING DRONE VIDEO THINKING SHEET. OUR ASSIGNMENTS FOR TODAY: ASSIGNMENT ONE: OUR FIRST VIDEO EDITING PROJECT: HHS BY AIR- AN INTRODUCTION TO VIDEO EDITING. Last class period was kind of a "free day" with lots of goofing off and playing with AI music generation. Today it is time to do some actual work on our project. ASSIGNMENT TWO: You will need to review the video clips in the YELLOW DRIVE "HHS_VIDEO_CLIPS" Folder. You will probably need to use 10+ of these videos for your project. I would recommend copying them to your YELLOW DRIVE VIDEO EDITING FOLDER for later use. ASSIGNMENT THREE: I would recommend that you review the video in the HHS BY AIR PROJECT SHEET regarding DAVINCI RESOLVE FOR BEGINNERS TUTORIAL. First, we review some SCHOOL VIDEOS and discuss our first introductory project by completing the THREE SCHOOLS DRONE VIDEO THINKING SHEET. OUR ASSIGNMENTS FOR TODAY: ASSIGNMENT ONE: OUR FIRST VIDEO EDITING PROJECT: HHS BY AIR- AN INTRODUCTION TO VIDEO EDITING. ASSIGNMENT TWO: Sometime TODAY, please take a look at the SUNO.com AI MUSIC GENERATION assignment. You will be using SUNO.com to create the cheerful and uplifting background music with regular beats and shifts in rhythm every 5 seconds or so for your HHS BY AIR video. Use this assignment to create and upload your music. ASSIGNMENT THREE: You will need to review the video clips in the YELLOW DRIVE "HHS_VIDEO_CLIPS" Folder. You will probably need to use 10+ of these videos for your project. I would recommend copying them to your YELLOW DRIVE VIDEO EDITING FOLDER for later use.
