OUR ASSIGNMENTS FOR TODAY:

• ASSIGNMENT ONE:  The ANIMATED SOCIAL MEDIA POST.   You should be using the music that you created last class period when you did the MINI-PROJECT- AI ANIMATED SOCIAL MEDIA POST MUSIC.

• ASSIGNMENT TWO:     What is next?  Our next project is a large one- The FUTURE WAR TIMELINE AND ANALYSIS PROJECT. This is a long project, with a lot of moving parts. Don't be overwhelmed! Just go a step at a time, use AI to help you! Have a conversation with AI, telling it what you need. It will help! DON'T GIVE UP! We will be previewing this project in class next class period.

OUR ASSIGNMENTS FOR TODAY:

1. ASSIGNMENT ONE:  I will be calling you up to the desk today to grade the INTERNET SAFETY POSTER, so you should have it completed, along with the INTERNET SAFETY PRELIMINARY DATA FORM.  Make sure you have included your MESSAGE and a CALL TO ACTION!

2. ASSIGNMENT TWO:  The ANIMATED SOCIAL MEDIA POST.   You should be using the music that you created last class period when you did the MINI-PROJECT- AI ANIMATED SOCIAL MEDIA POST MUSIC.

ASSIGNMENT ONE:  OUR NEXT PROJECT, the INTERNET SAFETY POSTER, you should be finishing this project up today.  PLEASE NOTE that a large part of this project is the AI Brainstorming and Planning ahead of time, where you will complete the INTERNET SAFETY PRELIMINARY DATA FORM.  When you have completed THAT, then you can start working on the project itself!  I have also CHANGED THE REQUIREMENTS of this project-  Please create your IMAGES in AI and put together your poster and your TEXT in Canva.  You MUST include a MESSAGE and a CALL TO ACTION!

2. ASSIGNMENT TWO:  WHAT'S NEXT? The ANIMATED SOCIAL MEDIA POST.   Before working on this, you will need to complete the MINI-PROJECT- AI ANIMATED SOCIAL MEDIA POST MUSIC.

OUR ASSIGNMENTS FOR TODAY:

1. ASSIGNMENT ONE:  MINI-PROJECT- THE LANDLORD'S LETTER. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.  If you get lost, look for the SOS section.  This assignment will be worth 25 points, but you will probably use this skill sometime over the next 5-6 years.

2. ASSIGNMENT TWO: WORK ON FINISHING The BUSINESS GRAND OPENING FLYER.  You have already been randomly assigned a business to work with.  You are their graphic designer and have been hired to create the "Grand Opening" poster for their business.  Make sure to include ALL required elements.  If you have not worked with CANVA before, there are 3 introductory videos that you can review to get started.  For this project, you ARE allowed to use TEMPLATES, see the instructions.  PLEASE NOTE:  EVERY IMAGE ON THIS FLYER SHOULD BE AI GENERATED!  

3. 1. COMPLETE THE DAILY EXERCISE:  CREATING GEMINI GEMS- THE GEMINI IMAGE CREATOR- 2026:  This will show you how to create Gemini GEMs, AI Apps that you create and save in your Google Drive.  

2. • This will be graded as a ASSESSMENT GRADE, you will get 15 points for each problem that you SUCCESSFULLY complete and save in your COMPTECH/MIDTERM FOLDER when you are done.
• You ABSOLUTELY MUST READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS!  This is key to being successful at this MIDTERM.  Everything you need to know about this MIDTERM exam is written in the instructions.  Trust me!
• For this MIDTERM EXAMINATION, you are NOT allowed to look at old projects, review assignment sheets, ask for help, etc. 
• TEST CONDITIONS ARE IN EFFECT.  Do not look at other people's work, talk to other people, walk around the room, be disruptive, etc.  If you do any of these things, I will ask you to leave the room immediately and you will receive a zero for this MIDTERM EXAM.
• EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY:  If you complete the exam early, I am giving you a chance to earn some EXTRA CREDIT by playing a game (or two!)  If you would like a chance to completely form your own world and play a RPG game of your own design, please click here and follow the link.  When you are done, answer all of the questions and I will give you up to 20 extra credit points:  DAILY EXERCISE- PARTYROCK'S CHAT RPG.  If you do not want to play the game, you can take a nap, work on your Language Arts homework, read a book or write a poem.  You CANNOT be disruptive or get our your phone!

• This will be graded as a PARTICIPATION GRADE, you will get 5 points for each problem that you try and include in your COMPTECH/PRACTICE_FINAL FOLDER when you are done.

• You ABSOLUTELY MUST READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS!  This is key to being successful at this PRACTICE FINAL.  Everything you need to know about this practice  test is written in the instructions.  Trust me!
• For this PRACTICE FINAL EXAMINATION, you are allowed to look at old projects, review assignment sheets, ask for help, etc.  You will NOT be able to do this on the actual Final Exam.
• The ACTUAL FINAL EXAMINATION will be next class period and will be very similar to this PRACTICE FINAL in size and scope, but will be worth 150 points, without any help, looking up answers or cheating of any sort.
