FOR TODAY: Today, we begin our FAVORITE THING SLIDES PRESENTATIONS. The order of presentations is on the whiteboard. Students will have a minute or two to get ready, then must present their presentation to the class. Once you are done, you will submit your Speaker's Notes to Mr. B. for grading. Things to watch for on your presentation:

  • Your presentation should be about 3-4 minutes long. You will be timed. If you go longer than 5 minutes, your presentation will be stopped so that the next presenter can have their full time. Most presentations go LONGER than you expect, so make sure you time yourself and your presentation before hand!
  • You may NOT turn around and look at your slideshow as you present. Make sure that your speaker's notes are properly organized so that you know what slides you are presenting.
  • DO NOT simply reread your bullet points from your slideshow. If you do this, I will stop your presentation and you will receive a zero for your presentation grade.
  • Students that are not prepared to present their slide show at their assigned time will receive a ZERO on the presentation portion of their project. There will be not late presentations.
  • Be prepared to SUBMIT YOUR SPEAKER's NOTES to Mr. B. at the end of your presentation.
  • As part of your presentation score, you MUST ask at least ONE question regarding the presentations of other students. All students must be respectful and attentive to the presentations of other students. Disruptive students will also receive a 50 percent reduction of their presentation score.
